I am delighted that members of the public now have new modern and clean public toilets available to them at Swords Town Park at the North Street entrance. For too many years residents and tourists had to ask to use the facilities at local businesses, if they got caught short while in the town’s main street.
For many years I campaigned and pushed to the council officials and the CEO of the council to provide public toilets in various locations including Swords. I was most pleased when the council finally allocated €1.5m for the project.
