Residents of Ridgewood and Forest Boulevard, in particular, need to be aware of the Rathingle Local Area plan. The plan is on display online and at County Hall. We’re not sure at this point exactly what is being proposed for development on this site. Submissions must be made by 5th February, the area is numbered 328 on the map and appears on Sheet Number 8.
The future Local Area Plan will focus on undeveloped residential lands which are zoned. The objective is to provide new residential communities in accordance with approved local area plans and subject to the provision of the necessary social and physical infrastructure, comprising approximately 5.2 hectares (12.8 acres).
Children or groups, or associations representing the interests of children are also entitled to make submissions.
