A Big Shout Out for the Swords Tidy Towns Committee
The Tidy Towns committee are doing a great job keeping Swords tidy, They were also involved along with the operations and parks department in converting an unused open space into a wonderful park for all to enjoy. the green is juust off Bridge Street beside the Old Mill Bridge also Known as Peter Wilson Bridge.
The opening of the park consolidates the Council’s
commitment to Swords, the County Town, turning
what was an unattractive and unused piece of
open space into a beautiful local park. The Council
acknowledges the significant contribution made
to the development of the park by both Swords
Historical Society and Swords Tidy Towns group”.
Well done to the tidy towns committee, the Historical Society and all of the council officials and operations staff that were involved in turning this green space into a fantastic park that all can enjoy. I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the fantastic work that Fingal County Council do on behalf of the people of Fingal. I believe that Fingal County Council has to be the best community focused council in Ireland.”WELL DONE FINGAL”.
