For over thirty years there has been talk of the prospect of the construction of a road across the Ward River Valley park. local residents were extremely concerned about the proposal to construct a road from the Loreto School to Brackenstown Road, they will be glad to hear that I have established once and for all that there are no plans put a road across the Valley at this location.
There is a need for a new road to alleviate the traffic congestion in Swords Village at Church Road and Dublin Street, I believe it is proposed to construct a link road from Swords Village to Brackenstown road, this road will more than likely be to the east of the Ward River and close to Swords Village.
