Question put to the environment department regards a litter issue on Swords main street:
Question: Councillor J. Newman – Litter at 29 Main Street Swords. “To ask the Chief Executive what action if any, has been taken, to resolve the issue of litter at 29 Main Street Swords, and to ask what fines if any, have been levied against the owners ( or their agents) of the aforementioned premises)?”
Reply: Warning notices in relation to litter at 29 Main Street, Swords, have been issued to interested parties. Upon inspection on 2nd February 2016 it was observed that the litter has been completely removed and no further action is required at this time
( the swords tidy towns committee were responsible for collecting the litter.)
